The PostSecret Project

The general idea is that if you have a secret that you haven't told anyone and you want it out of your chest, you can then create a home made postcard, include your secret there and send it to the PostSecret Project.

According to the group your secret could be anything, a hope, a regret, a fantasy, a fear, a betrayal, an erotic desire, a confession, -- as long as it is true and you have never shared it with anyone before.

Each Sunday new secrets are posted in their website and at least three books have been published already with some of the postcards.

I go to their site from time to time and each time I have a few laughs thanks to 'funny secrets' --but there is always also at least one secret that I just hope is not true.

Is a weird thing. Sometimes you feel like a voyeur. Sometimes you find yourself there, in someone else's words. Sometimes you think that people have stupid secrets. And sometimes you fear that all of them may be true.
