Drinking Alcohol Shrinks the Brain

WEDNESDAY, May 2 (HealthDay News) -- While it might help your heart, drinking even moderately could shrink your brain, U.S. researchers say.

The researchers found that the more alcohol people drank on a regular basis, the smaller their brain volume.

People who had more than 14 drinks per week had an average 1.6 percent reduction in brain volume compared with people who never drank.

Mmmmmmm... isn't Bush a recovered alcoholic?

This report can explain at least half of his problem. The other missing half of his brain may have been lost while trying to avoid serving in the Army. Or at birth... Who knows?

What about the "Never to Recover" Ted Kennedy? His brain continues to shrink and that explains why his close-mindedness continues to grow daily.
