I'm Not Alone

Seems I am not the only one with a not-so-good opinion about self help books (I am being diplomatic when I say "not so good").

Funny thing is that I found this opinion also through ChangeThis and it is also drawn in a little file, but is not the work of Hugh MacLeod that I featured some days ago, but the "little project" of Jessica Hagy a project that helps her to "make fun of some things and sense of others".

According to ChangeThis!, "Jessica Hagy is a very different kind of thinker. She has an astonishing talent for visualizing relationships, capturing in pictures what is difficult for most of us to express in words. At Indexed, she posts charts, graphs, and Venn diagrams drawn on index cards that reveal in a simple and intuitive way the large and small truths of modern life."

Is not surprising to know soon her sharp views/drawings will be available in a book and that apparently in March this year her work will be featured on CurrentTV.

Appart for visiting her website, you can also download a very funny .PDF with her drawings about "Indexing a Career: A Career Path in Pictures" (Warning: download at your own risk, you may be very proud of yourself or start weeping after just two drawings!).

Found Via: Change This, where ironically you can also find crappy "100 ways to..." kind of material.

I'm very keen of knowing whether you cried or felt pride. I'm betting it varied from drawing to drawing.
Me? I'm a conundrum.

I must confess it was 99% pride. I guess that also explains why I am not rich :)) nor very predictable...
